There is a really impressive section where you can control Bruticus and the game view kind of changes so you see everything from his massive size. The previous game would give you a choice of a handful of characters for each chapter, but this one does not.
This kind of works better as it keeps things more focused this time around. There is way more ammo laying around this time around which makes the gameplay way more fun. You can transform on the fly in Transformers: Fall of Cybertron which is fun, well all of them can except Grimlock who has to build up a rage meter to do so as he is so powerful when he is a T-Rex.
There are some driving sections, but you can also attack in vehicle mode which is really cool. Each character has their own special ability that will be needed to get through various chapters. One part of the game that I got way hooked on which I did not expect was Escalation Mode.

I had a blast with this game mode even though I will admit it is better in Rise of the Dark Spark and think it is the best multiplayer mode in a Transformers game by far! Where no matter what IP is producing them, as long as they stick to the tried and tested formula, they seem to sell. The Sega alumni are no strangers to the kart racer genre with a number of characters lending their services on the track.
This game plays like any conventional kart racer that you may have come across in your gaming career. This game takes the classic kart racer format with powerups scattered throughout different courses with all your favourite Sega characters in the playable roster. Unlike the previous Sega kart racing outing, this game really bolsters its roster, cutting the less noticeable names and adding some really interesting additions.
The game obviously leans on the success of the Sonic franchise with pretty much all the key characters from the series making an appearance. The standout changes from the tired kart racer tropes are the dynamic aspects of driving and the environments. As you proceed through a course, the track will change with each lap on most occasions, adding an ever-changing environment which only serves to add more of a hectic and frantic style to the races.
Then there are the aspects of the track that will have you float across the water, soar through the skies or use other environmental effects to make navigation more than just wheels on the track action.
